Extra boot light

I think it was on cs I saw someone with a light bar wired into there boot the came on with the boot light. Has anyone done this? Anyone know what I would ha e to wire it to?

I have a sticky back LED strip in the boot of my Volvo as the huge boot was so badly lit before.

I just soldered it directly to the bulb holder for the original light, but took the bulb out.
