Expensive morning for the LY (and life in general!!!)

So as previously mentioned the exhaust is on its way out, and I drove it to my parents this morning sounding more like a corvette!

So on my way to the local garage to have a quick inspection I hear a lovely stonechip clattered again my car, not a great start!

The car was quickly looked at, and I was told that the flexi’s have now gone! So I’m going to have to source out a manifold as well

Not only this but my boiler back home is on the blink too and losing boiler, and Christmas on the horizon!

Charitable donations, sympathy, hugs and beer will be greatly received!

Not good Beany, as soon as I heard it I knew it wasn’t good! My touch up paint is rock solid so I’m going to have to put up with it till I can source some more!

Got a chipex kit in, curious to see how good it is especially with LY!

In terms of the manifold I’ve not even begun to think of a fix! A new manifold and cat back system is not going to be cheap! It’ll be interesting to see what state of a car I have for the Xmas doo haha!

Sadly nothing is cheap with these cars hopefully you can find something on ebay which doesn’t break the bank.. I know 2nd hand isn’t always the best but softens the blow

If it’s going to go, at least it’s now while the exhaust is playing up! I wouldn’t have wanted to get that fitted, then the flexi’s went! At least I can ‘gut it out’ then get something stainless in there!

It’s date night tonight, and as I started the Clio up Laura has refused to travel in it, claimed it sounds chavvy and got out (admittedly it is LOUD!)

So here I am, on my way to Peterborough sat on the wrong side of a vehicle!
