Exhaust Tips?

Do 197's not come with exhaust tips?

Mine hasn't got any and it looks awful ... can you buy OEM tips or is something to take up with a local exhaust specialist?

Mine currently looks like this ... I know its not the best photo but its all i have haha ...

Did you buy this in Coatbridge by any chance ? If you stay local to Glasgow I just changed my exhaust 2 weeks ago and can take the tips of the old exhaust and clean them up and you can have them for free if you want ?

Yeah it its from Coatbridge!!! She was a long way for me mate, I'm 200 miles south! I'm from Hartlepool

I could send some money your way though if your willing to post them bud?

Well your car looks mint so if it is the right car then worth the trip. Yeah il take them.off clean them up and send you the photos and if you want them just cover the postage and il send them down to you. They have a nice liquid yellow 200 for sale, might take a run down at the weekend and see it. You will be able to fit the tips yourself il send you the clips with them if you want them.

Your a diamond mate, cheers bud!! ... yeah i seen it the other day on their website, looks clean! ... my car hasn't has any issues what so ever and their prices seem fair .. only thing that i didn't check was that the tyres were on there way out so there's £300 straight away but apart from that, decent guys - I would recommend them. If the 200 was there when i got mine i would have paid the extra to be fair.

Just thought id point out - only things i can see wrong from the pictures that its got a peeled steering wheel and headlight bulbs out so make sure ya take a spare bulb if its yours haha!!
 
And for some reason i dont know if they come with them but there is no firewall (whatever its called haha!) on the underneath of the bonnet
 
Yeah I noticed the headlight bulb and the steering wheel, is a nice 200. Il take the tips off tomorrow in work and clean them up and send you the pics. You'll enjoy the new car mate they are brilliant cars to drive so fun.

So far mate its unreal really love it ... just needs a few bits doing to it such as cup spoiler and little daft bits to make it perfect .. nice and clean shell though not a scratch on it
 
That's good to hear, must have been well looked after by the previous owner. I have a cup spoiler, how do you find the recaro seats ? I used to have the standard seats and got the recaros for a really decent price, love them.
 
I was dreading the 3.5 hr drive back from Glasgow when i forst picked it up but i was comfy! Really comfy seats, bolsters wear like as they are high and they hurt like hell until you learn how to get into them properly haha! Good seats though .. hold you in well
 
Seems like its been looked after, clean all over to be honest interior is good too, gunna get the bases of the recaros reupholstered sometime in the summer as they have got wear marks, no rips yet but its noticable .. been quoted £90 each so not too bad
 
That's a decent price. I went to flamingo land in October with t the wife and kids and the car didn't miss a beat. Il need to get 1 of my bolsters repaired.
 
Yeah mate it was a long way but loved every minute of the journey, the roads down there are amazing. I took the exhaust tips of the exhaust on Friday just need to give them a wee clean up. Send me your address and il get them posted to you at the start of next week.
