Exhaust Tip Fitting Help

You need a metal file and file the screw ridge inside the exhaust tips, then they are a tight fit but they do fit on with brute force!!

You will not need the screws, all you need to do is file away inside of the tips.

What I did was stick a piece of tape in the middle of the tip just to make sure the tip is aligned up properly as when you go to push it on I found that they twist, so with the tape I can make sure that I'm controlling the twist.

Any more info fire away??

You don't need to take off the diffuser
Just a file for the ridges and a rubber mallet to get them firmly on
Worked for me anyway

To keep them on firmly. After filing the inside I cut 8 slits in the back of the tailpiece with a hacksaw. then used a jubilee clamp to "crush" it against the existing exhaust pipe. Won't move anywhere now

Ahh I did not know this, great advice. Cheers all.

Can somebody provide a photo of their on from underneath or from the side so I can see how far you've put yours on?
