Exhaust gone

Hey - I noticed a reverberating sound on the exhaust at 2,300 - 3,400 rpm on full throttle.

I got it up on a ramp and there's a leak and it sounds like the baffles are gone on the part behind the second cat (middle silencer?)

Can this single part be replaced / welded or what are my options? cheers folks!

you can just cut it out and have a straight pipe or replace it with an after market silencer

Will the straight pipe cause a flatspot? will it over read on emissions and last but not least will it sound good or bad?

its a 07 done 62,000 miles Roy

A lot of people have straight through Luke by me is the same and it sounds good

removing the silencer will not effect emissions....only the sound!

Just be sure it isn't the flexi in the manifold, sounds like similar symptoms.

If it is does it cost much? I can hear the rattle at the rear of the car when driving though so I'm hoping its the middle silencer..

Get it on a ramp, or at least raise one side so you can identify where the problem is before you make any decisions
