European Road Trip

So me and [MENTION=4391]Deaks[/MENTION] had been talking about a ring trip for ages and a european road trip. The time had come and we finally went on a European road trip. (I will post a separate gallery for the ring) We left early Sunday morning and returned home on Friday evening. We covered 1775 miles across 8 countries and had one epic trip. We did 3 of the 10 ultimate drives and will eventually put reviews and locations up on the specific roads we drove. We slept in our cars apart from the first night and they were surprisingly warm and comfy. We really went back to basics on this trip, but I wouldn't change a thing. Seeing as this is a gallery I want to keep it short and sweet. Enjoy!

i myself drove to Czech 2 years ago but mostly stayed on the motorways,which is a shame really..next time i go i'll do something like you 2 guys..having fun on the roads and sleeping in the open air..great stuff

[MENTION=3210]Sarah A[/MENTION] basically we didn't haha. We managed to grab a shower on the first morning but that was it. It wasn't hot in the Alps so we never really got hot. Sounds disgusting but it's all part of the fun. If we go again we will stay in a hotel every other night. [MENTION=41063]Pav[/MENTION] I will do mate. We avoided tolls and the sat nav sent us through so beautiful towns and villages.

A pack of baby wipes is all you really need to keep clean haha! Awesome stuff, the photo's look amazing! A Euro trip is definitely on my to-do list.

This trip cost me a total of 450 quid ish. 60 for ferry. Car camping is free. Fuel is about 300. Food is about 50 quid and two ring laps is 40 quid. Well worth it! I advise getting a good sat nav and lots of water for brushing teeth etc

I was on a full set of Nankang NS-2Rs and Jamie on Yokohama AD08Rs and both were faultless in all conditions.

P.s Belgium roads are a disgrace.

These cars are unbelievably comfy to sleep in, much better and warmer than a tent. Just recline the seats, get yourself in your sleeping bag and an extra one for over the top, take a pillow and you're sorted. Petrol was not too bad, averaged 32mpg over the 1775 mile trip. Don't bother with a tent, it's extra stress finding a camp site, once you've had enough of driving, park on the side of a mountain, get the BBQ and beers out.
