Enhancement Detail - Nissan Qashqai!

Something a bit different from me here - a Nissan Qashqai in Mocha.

I have detailed the owners' sons' R32 a couple of times in the past, and was asked to restore a bit of life into the paintwork and plastic on this beast, and sort a few scratches which it had picked up from its previous owner.

On to the detail...

A few befores:

Dodo Mitt used to ensure rear of spokes cleaned properly:

The car was then washed with Dodo BTBM, then rinsed. Next up, I dealt with the tar:

Tardis is superb on tar, making very light work of it!

Next up, the car was rinsed, then clayed with BH Soft Clay and Water as lube:

Not too bad...

The car was then rewashed, dried, and I began to assess the paintwork:

The average was about 140, with peaks of 160 or so and the lowest above of 131, pretty consistent paintwork.

The glass roof was cleansed first with Dodo Juice Lime Prime:

I then tested various combinations on the paintwork, to find the right pad/polish combo to deal with the swirling and scratches present. I settled for Menzerna 203S with a 3M Yellow waffle pad, stepping up to the green pad in places, for deeper scratches:

Looks great mate. What did you use on the polish on the plastic? Did you say and I have missed it?
