Drive shafts ?

I read somewhere when fitting a megane engine and more importantly the gearbox into a Clio you have to use the megane drive shafts to allow you to run the box is this right I find that a bit strange as surely the megane shafts are longer !

If that's the case I think mine will be be going in with the Clio box I can't wait any longer for boost !!!

megane box = megane drive shafts plus the megane intermediate bearing bracket
clio box = clio driveshafts and bits that were already on the car when it had clio engine.
