Dried tree resin on bonnet

I noticed something weird on my 200 today: a small, perfectly solid 'drop' of material that seems to have bonded with the color layer. I assume its dried resin from a tree (I sometimes have no other option but to park under one).

If I had spotted it when it was fresh I could have removed it using oil or alcohol, however now that its dried up it just seems to have become a part of the bonnet.

Any tips on removing it?

Try a tar remover, clay bar and then a bit of polish I've had tree sap on my car before, not big clump of it but like little specs and the above shifted it with ease.
