Feeling left out after missing the boat for Brands, I took a spirited drive through the New Forest and found some absolutely cracking roads to cheer myself up! (Yes, I did slow down for the ponies)
Really starting to get a feel for the car now, especially in the wet weather. I now understand when people talk about a cars chassis defining the drive and being "alive"... the Clio truly has character.
I'm looking forward to my trip back to the North East for Crimbo and having a quick blast on the home roads of the North Yorkshire Moors.
Here's the car after about 2 hours of single-track country lanes
