Dead wheel bearing?

Annoyingly I've noticed some play in the driver side hub after getting all the suspension back onto the car. We're thinking it might be from sliding laterally across a kerb during our Snetterton mishap

I've attached a clip of it below and a picture of behind.

I'm assuming this is a damaged wheel bearing but wanted to get a second opinion and possibly some advice from anyone who's changed one? Really hoping I don't have to take it all off after just getting it back together

I was going to ask the same exact thing lol,after this spin the wheel and put your hand on the coil spring,see if you feel any vibrations,it does look like a lot of play though.

I managed to get one off a spare set of hubs that seems less shagged!
I’ll attempt to swap it over in situ tomorrow

If it wobbles with the nut tight, it’s dead. There should be no movement whatsoever.

It’s also best to test with the wheel on too. You’ll have more leverage then

Turns out I was panicking too much, it was really easy to swap out as is

calliper, disk and TRE off. Four E14 bolts and a few taps with a hammer and it came off easily.

New ( ) one in, threadlocker, and torqued up to 120nm

No more play, thanks all
