I had a ktec cat back and decided I would fit the decat pipe and give you my honest view. Fitting was straight forward and the car from idle didn't seem any louder, out on the road I find the mid range is stronger, and getting up the revs much easyer. Power wise nothing much but it feels quicker due to it been more eager to rev. Sharper is the word I'm after! I'm delighted with the mod as to me some of the mods can make a car worse until you buy someting else etc. Flat spot is worse but only a tiny bit best 70 quid I've spent

Do you think you will need a remap now youve decatted it ive just done the same and mines running like a bag of s@@t

Nah myns ok, weird? I am getting ren flash in the next few days so I will let everyone know how that goes!

i was told you dont need to map for decat, however i have bought renflash to go with mine as i feel it will get rid or improve the flat spot
