Had a sprint/track day at Curborough yesterday. Took a handful of pics...

I'm still learning how to use my new SLR... Go easy on me.

Some nice cars. Always fancied a day at Curborough, I imagine the clio showed them how it was done in the wet

Cheers fellas.

How did you fair against the competition?
Yeah, after I turned the TC off and got used to the track, it was like it was on rails - even in the rain.

It felt really quick, and I was playing my videos back against other peoples laps and I think I was quick. The RWD cars had real trouble putting their power down - as they would.

I also drove a 172 cup which was amazing. A right little cart, it was. I want one even more now!

Good pics you getting used to all them settings yet ? :thumbup1:
Cheers man. I like to think so. But I know I've still got loads to learn though with composition and setting my shots up...

Well done

The black 1*2 looks ace but i bet it was a pain in the ass for the silvias

:rain:

Your rolling shot is awesome.

What sort of format did the day run? Its not a circuit as such is it?

Yeah, you're right. It's a sprint circuit and is quite narrow, so you queue up to go around and when the other person crosses the line - the next is released. Good laugh between runs, getting out the car to have a gossip.

Its a sprint circuit mate - I've done it a couple of times years ago. It used to be one of the tracks used in one of the rounds of the Midland Speed Hillclimb Championship amongst others.

Shenstone and District Car club are the main associates/users I think. There were always car clubs competing on a Sunday - not sure if that still happens.

It's a great little circuit. They nearly closed it a few years back so I believe.

It's one of the tracks used by the MAC who a friend of mine competes under. http://www.shelsley-walsh.co.uk

Done this circuit twice in my old 172, quality little track! I was there with a few high powered focus rs's and i was still managing to lap quicker no boost to wait for lol, that bottom corner is a bit tricky to find the apex on
