Cutting out at high revs.

and now i am also getting this fault code in the UPC: (DF008 1 DEF)

On my system it comes up as Accelerator pedal position sensor 1 circuit/open,not sure if thats correct.

No problem, meanwhile I've tested the 4 wires to the downstream oxygen sensor to ECU and nothing came up

We are at Caldwell park at the moment racing phone and internet are weak here I’ll be home Tue evening. I think it should be 100 ohms but I will have to check.

I came across one of your replies to an old thread and seems like whats happening with mine to be honest lol,did you figure out how the CLiP diag fixed the downstream sensor in the end? I did try running catalyst test with mine but it failed for some reason, will try again anyway.

Those fault codes are not taking me anywhere so I ordered a brand new second hand fuel pump to try and if not will try new injectors.

Yea there was a bit of the Renault clip program that allows a catalytic converter operational test it was only used when the second lambda was stuck at a fixed reading. The clone Renault clips loss contact during the test what the revs of the car are held at 2,500 rpm but the test continues until complete without the feedback through the software.

Just to update this it was the starter motor heatshield causing all the problems.

I drove to Wayne at Chipwizards,he spent hours and hours trying to find it even tough I only paid for one hour as advised,

He found the starter motor heatshield short circuits,he measured the current and showed me for 20ms the alternator is putting out 700 amps (when it should be no more than 100),the time is so short that it doesn't pop any fuses,he then tried to only unplug the starter motor wiring after starting the car and it wasn't cutting out anymore.

Went for a drive with that removed and zero cutting out,so it must have been positioned at the perfect distance for it to only short circuit at higher revs, what are the fuxxing chances lol.
