Coolant drain point

Anyone know where the coolant drain point is on the 197?
I think the thermostats knackered so thought I'd change the coolant at the same time
 
its called radiator bottom hose :wink:

i couldnt find one on mine so just removed the bottom hose :book:
 
I dont wanna do that though, those stupid clips can be a reet git to get on and off, I was looking for a lazy way :wink:

syphon it off then....

remove the header tank return pipe and let it bleed all the coolant in to a bucket and at the same time top with water - once clear - let it drain 2.5 litres out the top up with neat anti-freeze

if you have the right pliers those spring clips are easy and you can always replace it with a "jubilee" type one
 
Vacuum it out mate. No drain point apart from undoing the nut on the rad

I should probably look at buying a tool for those clips, I come across them often enough. Saying that it might be Gem's problem, given my manky arm I might make her do it :wink:
