Clutch slip along with burning smell

I experienced this yesterday after driving 20mins home. I was driving gently so don't see how the clutch would overheat. The clutch did feel different but I wasn't sure if it was me.

Can anyone shed some light into what it could be? It's booked into the dealer on thurs.

Hmm was it 20 minutes in traffic with your foot on the clutch?

I was driving back from work and got stuck in a traffic jam and was crawling for about an hour. Ended up boiling the clutch fluid, clutch went rock hard and I couldn't accelerate past 2000rpm. After I got out of traffic and the fluid cooled down it was fine. Sound similar?

Nope. Country roads with mainly 5/6th gear hence I can't see how anything would have overheated.
