Clutch Bleeding Valve - better solution?

As bleeding of the clutch is not an easy task using the original bleeding valve, does anybody know whether it can be replaced by a (special made) valve that has a ‘normal’ nipple?

Bleeding with pressing the clip and moving the valve is such a hassle or am I the only one hating this? [emoji854]

It’s certainly possible if you change the slave cylinder for a conventional one.
Tbh, I’ve never really struggled with the standard one.

So, i am the only one maybe[emoji6]. It is also really hard to find a car garage which can and will actually properly bleed the clutch. They always use a pressure bottle and open de bleed valve once. Many times i proposed to bleed the ‘old school’ way to manually bleed using the pedal several times to really get the air out but all refuse pointing at the ‘clicking’ valve still leaving me with air in the clutch.

What do you mean by a conventional one? Thought there was only one type?

Conventional as per how you described with a ‘normal’ nipple.

I always bleed mine with the pedal. Not pressure

Didn’t know conventional slave cylinders were available for the Clio. Will search for it, thanks for the tip!

Next thing is to find a workshop which is willing to use the old school pedal way [emoji3].

Thanks again!
