Such a great mod for the money, I’ve been testing my GoPro today and have plenty of clips now with the burble and pops. Can’t get enough!

So these all arrived today, still waiting on a rear plate and a 3/4 plate.
But I’m really liking the dual shorts, after a quick mock up onto the car!

Keep reading conflicting things about wether it’s bumper off or not. Need to have a proper look myself.

I will have 5 in the end! They didn’t send out the standard size rear for some reason, so hopefully that’ll arrive soon. Also got a 3/4 height on order too.
Going to see which combination looks best, and the standard size plates to throw in the boot for any ‘very sorry officer’ moments.

After some night shift eBay browsing, I decided to throw a cheeky low offer on some new wheels and tyres. Didn’t expect it to be accepted AT ALL, butttttt it was haha.
Go and pick these up next week!

So I’m hoping that the ET not being a million miles away, they’ll just sit in the arches a little wider.
Plus, I’ll put the wider tyres on the rear, so less chance of scrubbing.

Is that the trophy standard fitment?
As I was under the impression the standards are 17 x 7.5j ET55?
Cup packs and Trophy are 18 x 7.5, non-Cup with the Tibor alloys are 17 x 7.5 I believe.
I got my ET wrong, both are 55

Just be handy to have a spare set knocking around for track days I think. Especially as they’ve already got enough tyre for a trackday or two
It’s the perfect arrangement to be honest, 17” track wheels are sought after by Mk4 owners, there isn’t much about in the 5 x 114.3 world so you’ve done really well. Also means that track rubber is cheaper in 17” too, AD08’s are something like £350 a set in a 17/215/45 fitment.
Plus they’re 1.2’s which are just lush!
Had a nightmare today with the 1.2’s....
Went to put them on, to take a daily wheel to get a valve replaced, and popped the centre out of a wheel.
Looks like I’ve overlooked the hub length of the Clio, and should of used a spacer. But that would of thrown the offset even more off and probably wouldn’t be doable.
Pain in the arse, but one of those things.
Looks like I’ll have to get rid of them and find something different. Well... get rid of three anyways haha.
