clio II dim xenons, help?

My wife has clio II 2002 model with factory xenons. Light power is really bad.
Are projectors broken , dirty or how about fresh new d2s xenon bulbs?

i would say new bulbs, as they would go dim over time due the type of bulb they are (discharge lighting)

We have own this clio for 5 years now and i think xenon bulbs are all original.
Philips guide tells that xenon bulbs are D2S type. Maybe i should order pair from Germany ebay, 60-70€ including shipping.

Is there some guide how difficult is to remove clio II headlights because there are no absolutely room at all to change bulbs.
