Clio 200 - Keycard Batteries?

Morning all,

Keycard battery is flat and car is at home today, can anyone tell me which CR battery I need - did a quick Google and came back with several suggestions?

I thought it was CR2025....

@Ralph Yep that's the one, changed mine last week. (Just took my battery out to double check too)

** that's presuming the 197 & 200 key cards are the same

There was some mention on one thread I read of some voodoo that is required following a changing of the battery - is this right or will the car just recognise the card again??

No problem mate.

I changed the battery in the shop I bought it from walked up to the car and got in as normal - so hopefully it'll be fine and just recognise it as normal.

I am guessing there may be problems if you left the keycard without a battery for a while , just a straight swap will be fine.

Changed my keycard batteries for Duracell CR2025 ones from eBay, only £1.73 for 2. Same batteries out of Tesco £4.75!!!!!!
