After hearing my mates Corsa VXR, with decat and centre silencer removed, I am going to have a ring around tomorrow and get mine done! Was going to get a full cat back system, but for £40-£70 you cant go wrong! Only looking for the noise anyway and not bothered about the flat spot as I don't drive in that part of the rev range

I have a Full decat system on my 200 and it jurked, it didnt do it all the time but when u accelerate its quite bad.. I had a remap done and now it fine

Hi all, forigve me if this has already been asked.If I go to the likes of powerflow to have the centre silencer removed, will that silencer now only be good for scrap. Reason I ask is I change cars alot and like them to be standard when I re-sell them.

Obviously keep the silencer but when they fit the new exhaust part tell them to use sleeves rather than welding so you can easily swap it back mate

Is this with the centre silencer removed and, say, a ITG panel filter fitted?

this is defo with the centre silencer removed but i'm not sure what intake willis was using at the time,he's using a V6 airbox and 63mm TB now

Spend the money on having the silencer removed with a decent intake filter, like the majority of the members on here,

or,

Spend the money on buying a Ktec exhaust system, such as the KTR Pro: http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2660&appid=3

Decisions! I think it boils mainly down to price £££££, and performance...?

you won't gain much in performance either way to be honest mate,1-2bhp if your lucky,personally i'd go for the ktec pro + decat system,i ran this before i added the Y pipe as well and it sounds awesome
