what is the part that is attatched to the bottom of the tank then if not the pump?

Isnt part of the fuel sender unit and accessable under the rear seats?

You can basically just get at the connections under the seat. The cut out is too small in the bodyshell to remove the unit. You need to drop the tank, to remove the pump.

It did cross our minds to cut out a bigger hole under the seat mind, proper pikey way
