Clio 197 - Reverse Gear issue

Hi,

I've recently fitted a ZPO extended shifter to our Clio 197. I've used the guide on here and fitted the shifter no problem, however following the test run afterwards.

The reverse gear can easily be selected without any usual - pulling up on the selected and moving across.

This is a concern as I've come close to selecting reverse at junctions. I'm confident it's an easy fix as it worked beforehand.

Please can anyone shed some light on how to fix this please?
