So been debating the next few steps for The cars progress this past week
Full cage
Buckets and harnesses this summer hopefully.

And then a long term build of getting the engine forged and a G25-550 and all the supporting goodies, my target power is somewhere over 400+ which should make it very lively

Popped up to my mates PPF business earlier today to get the carbon end plates of the spoiler wrapped up, well worth doing!

Spent the day up at players classics at goodwood today. Such an awesome show, especially with the drifting demo from Baggsy.

Accidentally fell into the cobra stand a got my self a seat though ..

And today the harnesses got delivered. Just waiting for the side mounts now and then it’ll be going in

So new plans over the rest of this year

looking at going into time attack next year, so hopefully should get some good updates through the rest of this year with cage, fire and electric cut offs, bit of aero etc!

new pads and oil to sort out before CSF next week.
Went for PBS Prorace pads this time over the ds3000’s, so hoping for a good braking performance!

It should be in clubman 2wd, the regulations aren’t too tight compared to the unlimited.

So! Been a few weeks since my last update.

Had CSF a few weeks ago, car ran perfectly, no issues even on a hot hot day! Very happy with the way it performed and that everything i did was all tied in together





The only down fall was on the drive home, stopped to get some lunch about an hour away from blyton and the car decided to die on me. Queue a 13 hour recovery home for a 2 hour drive.




Turned out to be the Pre car lambda wires had drooped onto the exhaust manifold, causing a short and blown the main ECU/ECM fuse. Took us days to find the issues even with wiring diagrams etc. Taped the lambda up, new fuse and its been fine since!

Been a while since i updated this

Had a successful track day at Castle Combe the other week, car felt great and a lot was learnt but there's a few changes I need to do in the suspension, definitely need stiffer springs coming into the new year.

Got some much needed tuition off of a friend of mine which helped me improve through out the day also.





My girlfriends first time out on track as well, brave enough to tackle combe for her first time driving the car, and on a live track! smashed it, and i'm sure she'll be joining me out on a couple more to learn the car also.



Been in talks with Fulcrum Motorsport recently, and I've decided to put a deposit down on a cage and get that done over winter, and a few other idea's that I'm wanting to get done to make sure the car is safe, and reliable for the whole of next year.

I had my license starter pack come through the other day also, so I have some revision to get done and my license to be sorted at the end of this year / the start of the new year ready for the season.
I will be entering Time Attack in the new year as my main series, as well as the odd Hot hacth series / Road series races by 750MC.

It’s about £360 per single round entry for time attack. Fuel tyres brakes, etc I haven’t costed up yet but it’s gonna be enough

Interior update.

there is none took all of it out, and getting it prepped up for a cage and new seat! Going to match with my drivers one, so no ‘ring trips for me for now!

front carpet does need to come out, I just ran out of time to get it out.

Just updated the threads title. Bit more fitting now with the route the cars going now, from fast road to clubsport to race car

Wrap up time for the Clio, MOT next month, but will be barely used over Christmas so had a final clean up and will be covered up!
