It's about £250. But the agg is you have to pretty much strip out the whole interior of the car to do it.

Thankfully mine looks nothing like that stripped the connector apart yesterday and gave it a real good clean couldn't see any of that green stuff in there so think it's a recent thing

With the wiper arm I found pressing on the bit the bends and jiggling it (so repeatedly pressing it) worked it lose. Mine were properly seized on and I cracked my windscreen trying to lever them off before finding that trick :d


I think by the time it starts effecting your electrics it can be too late to prevent an out laying of cash for something.

Yeah that's how I got mine off going to take it to Renault and have it put on the diagnostics

I'm having the same problem, tried a few times to get the wipers off and still had no luck. Was just about to post for suggestions as it seems to be a pretty important thing to do.

Perserverance and a bit of brute force I suppose - then lots of brute force!

Check the wiper linkage and clean that! I didnt and it burnt my wiper motor out in may and I had to have both replaced. Well I say I had to, Renault did as she got traded in against the current car

Where on the car do I find this connector, I would like to check mine but have been unsuccessful in finding it so far?

I use a small puller to remove wipers, buy them on Ebay for a few quid, makes the job easy.
