Couldnt you remove the rad without taking the front chassis thing?(wide beam i think its name )

The rad in the 200 sits on the subframe so it's easier to lift the rad up than drop it down.
If your rad needs replacing I'd suggest combining its replacement with a good oil service as the oil filter is really easy to access with the rad out. In fact with a new rad coming in at just £80 I'd replace it if my car had a few miles on it and I had to remove the bumper for some reason.

Not a hard job, just a bit time consuming.
