CG Lock

After looking at getting 3" OMP road harnesses, then reading the crash threads about no cage with harnesses, I've scrapped that idea and looking into alternative routes, the next in line is the CG lock?
Whats people's reviews on them? What I've read already seems pretty positive

I ran them before my buckets they are very good I now no longer use them but going to hang on to them as I liked them so much. Probably put them in something else.
the only negative is explaining to passengers about the release lever as its a bit tricky to start with

Cheers Matt, will do

So do they have to be constantly used? I thought you might be able to use the seat belt as normal, then strap it tight using the CG lock when 'spirited' or track driving

Well you can have it loose like a normal seatbelt in normal driving. I don't even notice mine anymore until I pull it tight.

Seen these in Performance French Car this month in the budget mods.
Never seen them before or used one.
How do they work, and anyone got any pictures?

it locks the hip section of the seat belt in place giving you a good CG (Centre of Gravity) Lock. Apparently it's 80% of the secureness a harness gives you?
