carbon Fibre or GRP Doors

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of GRP or even carbon fibre doors for the Clio 3?

No not tried them.

CF ones are available, ive seen them on a customers of Matt@TDF's X85.

I could get some GRP ones made, but theres a min order of 5 sets. ANyone fancy a pair?!

If I was to get them made, i'd get GRP.

Dont see the point in carbon fibre on something which is so easily smashed. GRP doors at say £500/pair versus £1500-2000 per pair for CF...hmmm!

Is that paintable carbon or lacquer finish?

Lacquer finnish, so you see the weave.

Ok, also found a supplier for GRP doors. These are £600 each. Interested?

What material is GRP and what's it's disadvantages over carbon?

Glass Fibre, price is the main advantage.
Carbon fibre has a higher tensile strength, so is "stronger", and and thinner weave can be used allowing a lighter part to be achieved. its damn expensive though.

because its a german webshop, GRP is called GFK. the price is for a set of doors (left and right). but the GRP one doenst have the carbon look. they just used the same picture like the CFK one.
