Carbon Bonnet... re-laquer??

TBH I don't think it is possible otherwise it would have been done by them to make an extra £200 on the sale....

The one I had on my clio was in a horrible state when I bought it. My mates dad used to spray bike bodywork and I asked him if it wa possible for him to attack it. I bought all the laqure, sand paper etc.. He managed to Sand down to the bare carbon fibre and was then able to re laqure it! He made an amazing job and charged me £50 + £25ish for the gear. He said he wouldn't do it again though, apparently it was a right ballache!

No paul, I have one... bought woodys off him a while back... but the laquer around the edges has started to go white?! so defo needs a re-laquer.

I might pop into a few bodyshops see if anything can be done, bit gutted tbh

Mine had a few stone chips and it had gone White where the laqure had lifted in loads of places. It can be fixed mate

Most carbon items will be gelcoat rather than lacquer.

Easiest option is to sand it down and paint body colour tbh.
