Car is booked in

Turns out my oxygen sensor is fooked...and typically they don't carry one as stock , this was the only fault they found...kinda relieved to be honest

Mother Hubbard!

You could probably get the same O2 sensor from a motor factors for around £50-75, but at least this way if that doesn't solve the problem then Ren will be more inclined to help.

Will do mate, i think it might be a lamda sensor as they said they need the car to cool before fitting

what was ur issue? Lamba/o2 sensors are on the exhaust so it will need too cool so they dont burn themself on it lol, safe and healthy...

did they say which one it was theres 2 on the 197/200

i assume it will be the second down stream sensor - the one that checks the efficiencies of the first sensor and cats :tongueout:roud:

Cant remember ever changing a downstream. Just used to have to repair the wiring on them on the old meganes due to water ingress causing corrosion..

Glad you on the track to getting it sorted
