car cover??

I'd start with a mild detergent, if that doesn't work try something stronger. Don't waste your Autoglym just yet!

have you looked at the label thats on it? they usually have wash instructions if fitted...

I have a tailor made car cover and mine says the following.

COVER CARE. When cleaning the cover we advise, for best results and for the long term benefit of the product, that you use a damp cloth in warm water. See label on the cover for instructions. Allow to dry naturally.

DO NOT CLEAN IN ANY WASHING MACHINE OR DRY CLEAN

However the stains that were on mine have not come out and I am reluctant to use anything stronger because I don't want to strip the cover of any protecting that's been applied.
