Can't lock or start car

Hi

It says my boot is open on the dash even when it's closed, so the car locks then unlocks straight away and if you try to start the engine it says boot open and does nothing?

Well it should start with the boot open. Weird, check the catch at the bottom of the boot has not come loose?

Typically mine is the odd one out then, unless I'm mistaken, sure I've started it with the boot open.

Mine never has been able to start the engine with the boot open, it maybe an option you can turn on and off?

faulty boot lock...

it does it so when your at the rear someone cant jump in the drivers seat start it up and drive away!

If you want to start the car with open boot, try to put the card in the slot. Assuming you have keyless?

Would say is faulty boot switch. new one is £24.

Yes it's a keyless one and it will start with the key card inserted, the boot latch is working as I have to use the button to open the boot, so will it be this boot switch?
