For future reference can anyone recommend anywhere close to me to get a new one? BB18 I'm in. It's 57 plate and on 68000 miles thereabout. I've read either every 5 years or at 72000 miles. Growing concern I've got.

That's there ebay page i contacted them on Facebook and rang them as well very helpful guys, fitting for mine was £200 which i thought was a good price it took about 4 hours. http://www.diamondmotors.net/ These are quite away from you but the guys on Cliosport.net highly recommend them. It is fairly priced. I am booking mine in in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks Gemma, I've already used a Renault specialist near me, after some queries they seem ok. I've asked them for a price too. Got some money back from the dealer I bought from regarding manifold but two new tyres later and a possible cambelt and Ive spent a whopping £700 in a month or two. This car is a keeper now haha, til I win the lotto!!

It's no problem I just found out about Diamond Motos today they are just around the corner from my work so that is a bonus.

Tbh, if it needed that much work, I'd be giving it back!

Dephaser is not 100% needed just saves labour in the future whilst you have it apart.

It's right, dealer paid for the manifold and at least if get cambelt sorted I've piece of mind. Hopefully good to go for some time after that. It may not need doing yet, just no paperwork to suggest it. Getting it checked next week.

I've had both. My non genuine belt started to slip and I had to have the whole lot done again. Pay once and get it right first time
