Cam testing results on Clio 200.

Ok, a bit more information for you guys.

In order to install the cams and carry out the mapping we would need the car in our workshop for a full day. The cams we are using are the Catcams 5504402 profile and they need to be timed up correctly using the special Catcams tool which you can see on this page: http://www.k-tecracing.com/news.asp?b=true&nav=6

To date we have never had a problem with a remap reverting back to OE settings. We had heard of this last year and once we looked into it the only thing we could find is that this could happen if only some small, minor changed were made to the parameters (ie. man in van turns up to map the car on your drive, having not done one before so uses some very basic changes in order to justify charging you). The remapping we carry out is much more in depth so there is no chance of this happening.

The cams will be available separately for £649+vat for the pair.

David.

Thank you for your feedback David.

Is this Clio 200 stock apart from the cams & the remap?

Can you post a bigger dyno pic?

Maybe depend of the software.. so i asked you witch software do you use...

sure david... i know

i tried it ahahahahah
(i'm italian and i can't take away work from you, if you can by pm........ hihihi)

I actually think this looks a really good price.......

+1 here. Considering that I'm gonna have to change the cambelt at some point (£400 at some Renault Specialist) so that plus cams plus fitting and remmaping and dyno'd for £1400? This is a VERY good price. Extremely tempted to change the cambelt a bit earlier:smile:

this plus de-catting my milltek would be sweet as.

Done it...waiting for Paul to remap the car.

a little confused as there is no real info on who supplies cams to you what profile they are and what gains there are to be had.

They've explained everything.

As others have said with costing you aer getting the cams fitted and belts done, I paid BTM around the £450 for all the fitting work and the new belts/tensioners. Then paid £300+vat for the remap, so this isnt a bad price tbf.

Ktec did all my work..quaife diff, brakes remap etc.
Not had any issues..gearbox feels good.
Other companies want closer to 1700 for the cam package so i think ktecs isnt bad at all.
