It's a myth taking the bumper off for the front badge to swap the front badge just used a plastic prise tool to avoid any damage to the car in case slipped, pop the badge from the left as that seems to be the weak spot and just lift and off it comes before anyways says if you want to get the black backing off then yes bumper off but if your fitting just a carbon badge etc this bonds to the black back plate anyway
