Bucket seat fitting

Hi guys, my mirco seat arrived today along with the side mounts.
now GSM sold me the OMP base...I know a few of you have had to mod the seat base in relation to the seat position?
Could anyone give any tips/pointers on what to do?

Fit the OMP base, fit side mounts to seat, position seat on base. We found that non of the holes lined up and had to re-drill - a bit of trial and error!! The left hand side mount overhangs the OMP base and the seat is very very close to centre. If you are having the seat low I suggest you also drop the column.

These look as if they would be a better choice than the standard side mounts (which we used) because they appear to have a wide foot and two rows of fixing points

I guess the holes didn't match the car mounting points if that's what your referring to?

No - the OMP subframe was fine bolting to the car, it was the seat mounts that didn't line up with the subframe holes

thank you for the help! I guess that is what people refer to with the seat being offset to the steering wheel?
