BTCC @ Rockingham Pictures

A little delayed, but here are my pictures from Rockingham last weekend.

Never been to Rockingham as a spectator before. Very tough circuit for photography if you don't have a media pass. It's a very fency affair. I found one spot where there were no fences obstructing the shot (Paddock roof) and the cars were simply going in a straight line and were quite far away.

The other spots I found were all obstructed by fences... Anyway, enough excuses...

I had a 'Go HARD or go home' attitude, shooting at 1/20, 1/30 all day. Not as good as I'd like to be, but this is only my fourth motorsport panning event to date.

Practice makes perfect!

It was hit from the side in race one, the alloy bar behind the bumper was embedded in the other car and he raced like this for about 6 laps before getting black flagged, the car above was written off, well the shell was, both chassis legs were at 45 degrees and they were packing up to go home it looked like.
