box oil change cost?

Cars going into the garage anyway so thought id get the 'box oil done, thinking

RED LINE Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant MTL 75W-80 GL4 ? How much labour should I expect to pay? Would rather let the garage to do it than myself tbh.

not sure about the cost as i had mine done along with some other stuff but the one u have stated above is very good..thats what is in mine and i value it very highly...

Have you got any mechanical friends? Mates rates are usually a good thing to have. The gearbox oil isn't a difficult thing to do, but you may need a rubber funnel as it was extremely difficult to get to the hole. It was also pretty funny to see the mech miss the hole a few times and tip oil on his back.

I had grindy gears, so I put FUCHS in and about 3000 miles later, it seems to have gone completely.

I paid £20 for the oils and gave the guy 15 quid. Can't complain.
