Black diamond/covers?

Anybody got any photos of a racing blue 197 with black badges? Toying with buying these from eBay but don't know if it will look right with my colour.

I bought a set for the raider....however sent them back as the front badge didn't cover all of the original one. The black wasn't the same as black on the bodywork, so I'm looking into getting the diamonds wrapped or go down the carbon route....

Cannot fault their serivce though, even though I wasn't 100% happy.

Did they stick well? Do you mean the didn't wrap round the sides of the badge fully?

I was thinking of plastidipping mine, just mask around them, peel off if you don't like

Plastidip won't make give them a gloss look though, just be mindful of that

Covers are my only option I think, I couldn't be arsed taking the bumper off just to make a badge black. Bought them last night anyway so il try them and see how good hey are.

I presume you didn't stick them on in the rain? Mine fit perfectly, but i used some strong double sided tape on the rear and number plate backing for the front.

Mine fit perfectly too. Held on nice and solid. Before I put them on I cleaned the badges on the car with alcohol and a microfibre cloth and took off the protective layer on the new badges with a Stanley knife, just pulling them off is a bad idea as you can easily damage the sticky bits.

Lol do you think maybe the rain had shrunk my silver one?
I don't think the rain had any affect on size of the cover or the silver one.
I was just sizing them up. Needless to say, I still think they're rubbish.

Are the front bonnet badges needed for a 197 the same as a 200 ?

Someones given me a rear - so i only need a front. This seller is the only person on ebay NOT selling as pairs (But says for 197):
