I adapted my brake duct design to take a cold feed pipe directly to the air filter. Your battery will cause you the biggest problem but if you don’t want to move it I’d suggest going for a bonnet duct.
Thanks for the replies. If I do something I’d like it to be easily replaced to standard at not much cost.
Bonnet duct is probably the most effective but not my first choice!!

@Big Ben - small racing battery side mounted next to V6 airbox, and battery mounted on its side under induction kit (both n/a F4Rs but the principle is the same):
It was fine Pav. Oil and coolant temp were rock steady.
Just had a feeling that more cold air would make it run more efficient and not rob horsepower.
Just a hunch. More preventative than anything else
Cars been dropped at Beaniesport to have some maintenance done this week. Slight clonk from front suspension after recent trackday. Hopefully droplink/stabiliser arm and not the rack!
Will tint the fogs yellow and put some more heat resistant tape in the engine bay (copying trackspec).
Hopefully ready for me to collect Friday afternoon.
Nice to meet @nick's on Saturday. Possibly the finest Clio I’ve seen in the flesh and I’ve seen a few! Stunning example
