Good straight forward mod that Ben
good find man
Saw it on facebook Ben.
I'm considering options for this too. You can modify a 172/182 rail and add a reg to the end as a ph1 rail.
I'd like to make up an alloy one at some point. Possibly mk3 meg is the better option.
Two Techs in Dartford are doing the work for me as they’ve already done it a few times for other people and it’s not particularly expensive. Will take pics and put them up
keep positive about the track day , I have anglesey booked in December lmao
Met Terry at two techs a few months back, dropping my old engine off for another member.
Seemed nice enough.
I’ve used them before mate, they’re good guys
5000 posts and counting.... pretty good considering I’d never been on a forum until I joined this one!!
That’s because it’s 4999 posts of car for sale.. keeping it... for sale... keeping it
Had a couple of wobbles along the way
Congratulations Ben! To think my wife complains that I spend far too much time on here
grats to your 5k post mark
Visited Two Techs in Dartford today.
Had Forge ancillary hose kit fitted and Meg275 fuel rail.
Fuel Rail needed the mounting points adjusted but was so close that they just elongated both holes and fixed with a washer. Had a result in that the Clio fuel line was plenty long enough to reach the centre feed. Just needed to remove the small o ring from the fuel regulator in the rail to stop it working as the Clio has a regulator in the tank I believe. Can always change this at a later date if higher pressure is required.
Next on the list is a set of brake cooling ducts @trackspec197
And possibly some RS side skirts @nick's
Need to get that battery moved
250 turbo arrived today courtesy of @Raptor6767
Getting a few bits together in preparation for a likely forged engine build over the winter.
Still undecided if I’m going to send it away and hybrid it or just use it as is and run low 300bhp.
I’m pretty sure I’d need to uprate the fuelling with a hybrid and that comes at an additional premium.
Nice decisions to have of course!!
Watch this space
What figures are you running now @Big Ben?
Think that’s near on identical to mine
You do get used to it after a while. @Sean197 said to me I would!
A good condition 200 diffuser came up for sale on Facebook yesterday evening that was local to me. Did a deal and picked it up early this morning.
Managed to fit it up myself using the helpful how to guide.
Pleased with the outcome
