What's the best way to seperate the wishbones ball joint from the hub without damaging it?
I want to remove the wishbones so I can fit the powerflex camber adj bushes.
Any help much appreciated
If your talking about the bottom taper a few sharp taps around the taper, not on the taper or joint, with a copper mallet did the trick for me. You should be able to break them loose fairly easily.
They're a pain, I used a ball joint splitter that was big enough and ground wider to accept around the balljoint.
I tore the rubber, but a bag of new ones is a couple of quid.
