Best for red?

A friend from work wants me to detail his brand new Seat Leon FR. It is solid red paint - non metallic. I have some bits and bobs but it is orientated towards my blue car. I was thinking of telling him to buy the following:

Autoglym Clay kit
Autoglym SRP
Autoglym EGP
Autoglym HD Wax

.... and various cloths and towels to go with it. He is not into detailing at all so cannot justify any premium products as they probably wont get used. I am thinking that if he decides to have a go with the above in a few months time they would be pretty straight forward to work with.

Any other suggestions?

Finish Kare 1000P goes well on ultra red 197s and that is also a non metallic colour, just a supergloss or woteva they call it. Shouldnt be much different on other reds. Not a bad price too and cheaper than HD kit!!

SRP & EGP is good for alloys and a coat of EGP after the wax for extra protection will be good.

Clay for a beginner is rather difficult so he might just be better with AG Tar remover as that should get off and tar spots and tree sap after washing.

Other things like drying towels and applicator pad go without saying really!!
