Battery Light Megged 197

Hi Guys

My megged clio battery light comes on usually after 10 mins of driving and I am led to believe it is due to the megane alternator being used and the pulley is a different size so charges quicker?

Is the 197 alternator a straight forward swap?

My meglio uses the Clio alternator no problem

I mean mine is currently using the meg alternator so will swap it over

You need to swap the whole auxiliary setup over, air con the lot then it fits fine

ha I might live with the battery light until the garage warms up in the new year!

Doesn't affect it in anyway so not overly bothered, but I'd like to sort it
