audi a4 tdi any thoughts?

as above im thinking of giving my 197 to the gf as its prob knakerd lol, been looking at 2.0 tdi a4 sportlines, i do alot of miles 50 mile round trip to work, what does evryone think my bro recon they old mans car im 25?

roads are full of them......tried and tested running gear - if well maintained do good mpg and big mileages:thumbup:

but for some reason they can only travel in the third lane of the motor way at 85mph and 3inch from the car in front :001_rolleyes::001_rolleyes::001_rolleyes:

I had one (A4 1.9TDi 130) at 25, it wasn't a bad [company] car, economical, quick, but the steering wheel didn't feel connected to the wheels.

We had a few issues with it, sticking brake caliper, dropping drivers door, and the boot, though large, has a tiny opening.

Also the interior switch gear doesn't wear very well.

good solid cars.. my dad has a passat tdi and is very nice a well put together. although not the same car quite similar imo?

2.0 was the 16v evolution of the 1.9. Later 1.9 is only lower powered versions.
