Personally I would recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2s for general/sporty road driving (imo relatively cheap) or Yokohama AD08Rs for fast road/track use (more expensive and wear quicker)
Yeah got Michelin PSS on my 18" OZ Ultraleggera, mega in dry/wet, also gonna put a second set of AD08Rs on my OEM 17" Speedlines. Cornering Speed and breaking Performance is simply perfect on the PSS, cant fault them. PS3s are ****, sidewall not stiff enough and poor dry grip. Two of my mates also run the PSS on their M2RS/M3RS and absolutely recommend them.
I run them on the M3. Fantastic in the dry, average in the wet. On my other pet of wheels I use vred ultrac vorti and I reckon they're as good.
I run the vreds on the 197 and have no complaints with them at all.
