Anyone live in Essex / Suffolk area?

Just doing some house hunting. Any areas we should watch out for? Other than Clackton

In Bury St Edmunds in a LY 200! Normally shuttling around all over Suffolk areas and down the A14 most days!

Few Clio's knocking around this way!

Should have probably read the comment properly before commenting haha! Bury St Edmunds is a lovely town, stones throw away from Cambridge! Probably a little distance away towards Essex!

I've known people from work around the Basildon area (Baz Vegas as it was referred to) which apparently isn't too bad! Convenient town, decent location...

Yeah I'm from Cambridge, not too far!

Essex is generally fine Wanda. Avoid 'Vange' and 'Pitsea'. Depending on your budget, more desirable area's would be Upminster, Hornchurch and Brentwood area's. But you're talking 300k+ all day long for a decent crib there.

Like anywhere, all area's can be hit and miss. I live in Basildon, lots of poeple turn this nose up at it, but get good bang for buck. Nice central location as well
