200: Anyone ever notice the beep come in earlier?! :/

Normally my beep comes at around 7-7.5 almost 8 k/revs. But just now it came in at somepoint between 6 and 7 :/ any ideas? Happened twice. My service is due and the light is on? Could it be that?

Same in 197 with light, shouldnt be revving that high in first 10min ish anyway :-0

Yeah i know :/ the temp looked like it had gone up enough though tbh. Must of been because it was so cold today :/ ill know for next time.

It's more the oil temp than the water temp; don't forget oil takes longer to heat than water. The ECU works on oil temp and changes the limiter accordingly I believe.
