Any benefits to a Clio cup 197?

All I keep reading about is how naff they look etc with the black plastic trims and what a rougher ride they are. Non cup better all round? Starting to think I got the wrong type. Anything good anyone?

Just get the black trims painted the is car is fine all I would miss is the AC

I had my door handles painted black, on a red car I thought they looked out of place. I would have done the same with all the other colours exept the silver cars.

Well Imo cup is the best anyway. I've also got a/c but rarely use it.

I've got AC in mine. Hardly use it too. Right I'm leaving it, it's original spec eh, im big on leaving some things as should be. Although wouldn't mind extra bhp

Just means that with a Cup car, as well as general Cup awesomeness, you get a little plaque and a badge on the pillar

Where is the plaque? Maybe the 197 cups don't have one as I've never noticed it. The only thing I miss when driving my cup is electric mirrors but how often do you ever adjust your mirrors anyway. Also I much prefer the cup door without the door pulls, the pulls feel so flimsy.
