Almost £700 for my mot and it's 4yr old !!!

Had to replace all disks and pads which were wrecked and service car which I have done myself which saved me a small fortune no doubt, went in for mot today to find out its got a broken front spring so I'll need to get that done pronto the joys
Ps I'll post pics of the disks later the car is only 29k there some mess and rear calliper carriers were seized And so were the pads and locking on and have already noticed a saving on mpg all left to do now is investigate why the whole underside of engine is caked in oil and replace the spring arghhhhh!!

I had to replace spring, one of those annoying things, mine was due to a pot hole, very annoying, managed to get all four springs for 40!

You were lucky Called Karl earlier calling back to place order for 1 spring there not cheap either obv not Karl fault he's still way cheeper than garage quoted lol

I would have but not at the price not far away from buying a full set of lowering springs lol

it is :001_rolleyes: just done it on my old banger.....£80 for front springs..
